Position Description:
Blackstone Management is looking for a qualified intern to join our marketing/advertising team. Our marketing department produces quality work for major apartment communities and real estate developments in the Washington, D.C area, and seeks an intern who can participate in various stages of print and online marketing campaigns along with lead generation and outreach.
This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of marketing and office services.
The primary responsibilities of the position are:
Responsibilities:
- Identify all local lead sources
- Assist with business development per marking blueprint and marketing straegy
- Assist with performing client assessments
- Utilizes monthly marketing and public relations calendar to coordinate activity with national focus
- Assit with press releases
- Attend trade shows, conferences, networking events. etc.
- Network with others in the industry to develop new business opportunities
- Assist in coordinating various marketing methods including, direct mail, print ads, networking, internet, social media.
- Develop new marketing ideas
- Assist with managing/development of a (CRM) Customer Relationship Management System
Qualifications

- Ability to prioritize in a changing enviroment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
