Position Description
Blackstone Management is seeking a qualified intern to work alongside our marketing, advertising, and business development team.
Our marketing activities support apartment communities, community associations, real estate operations, and business development initiatives throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
The selected intern will have the opportunity to participate in multiple stages of print and online marketing campaigns, lead generation, client outreach, market research, networking, and business development.
This internship is designed for someone who is prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and wants to gain broad exposure to marketing, business development, communications, and professional office operations.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify local lead sources and potential business development opportunities.
- Assist with business development efforts based on established marketing plans and company strategies.
- Assist with performing prospective client and market assessments.
- Help coordinate marketing and public relations activities using the company’s monthly marketing and communications calendar.
- Assist with drafting and preparing press releases and other communications.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, networking events, and other industry events when appropriate.
- Network with professionals and organizations within the industry to help identify new business opportunities.
- Assist in coordinating marketing activities including direct mail, print advertising, networking, internet marketing, and social media.
- Research and develop new marketing ideas and outreach opportunities.
- Assist with the development, organization, and maintenance of the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Assist with lead generation, prospect research, and follow-up activities.
- Participate in collaborative projects with members of the marketing, business development, and administrative teams.

Interns who successfully complete the full four-week Blackstone Management Internship Program will receive a $1,000 scholarship.
