Position Offred: Property Manager – Waldorf, MD.

Work Location: Waldorf, MD.

Work Hours:

  • -40 hours per week from Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm
  • -May be asked to attend one (1) after hours meeting (5pm to 9pm) with the Board of Directors per month and make themselves available for additional after-hours meetings if requested by the Board of Directors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • -Oversee the management and direction of all on- site Staff and Vendors
  • -Oversee Cleaning Crew, and provide a report of any deficiencies
  • -Adhere to Monthly Administrative Calendar set by supervisor and the Board of Directors
  • -Prepare Monthly Site-Managers Report to be presented to the Board of Directors at the monthly management meeting
  • -Keep track of Work Orders/in house maintenance (using Blackstone Managements Online tools)
  • -Responds to on-site emergencies as needed
  • -Assist in the preparation of Annual Meeting Materials
  • -On-Site inspection of all buildings – interior/exterior 2 times per week and provide written report for community records. All found issues will be enter in as a maintenance request for correction.
  • -Coordinate the repair of leaks, mechanical, electrical and other problems as necessary
  • -Performs Resale Inspections (when request is made online)
  • -Weekley Violation inspections to include Letters/Notices/Forms/Hearings
  • -Prepare Maintenance Schedules and update all requests using the Blackstone Management Online tool to allow requesters and board members to track the progress of repairs.
  • -Develop Emergency Procedures for required after hours repairs.
  • -Attend one board meeting per month between the hours of 6pm and 9pm (hours to be sent by the board.
  • -Work with senior management team to accomplish any assigned tasks in set timeframe

 Requirements:

  • -Four (4) year higher education degree in business or relate field or 5 years of related work experience
  • -Two (2) years supervisory experience effectively working with all levels of staff and management
  • -Must be knowledgeable of all local, state and federal Fair Housing laws and regulations
  • -Superior customer service skills and the ability to deal with difficult people and challenging situations while maintaining a positive and calm demeanor
  • -Ability to effectively and accurately communicate and present information verbally and in writing
  • -Must be proficient with MS Office
  • -Possess proven financial and accounting acumen
  • -Demonstrated ability to read a budget, conduct financial analysis and provide practical narrative and financial reporting
  • -Experience with Onesite and I-docs software, preferred

Compensation:

  • -$45,00.00 Annual Salary
  • -Productivity bonuses to be determined by supervisor not to exceed $2,500.00 over 12 months.
